Description: “Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high, Where knowledge is free… Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.” These timeless words echoed in the hearts of all as our school came together to celebrate Rabindra Jayanti with grace, reverence, and cultural vibrance. The special assembly conducted by our students set the tone for a soulful and vibrant morning, reflecting the rich artistic spirit of the occasion. The celebration featured a melodious medley of songs composed by Rabindranath Tagore, presented in Bengali, Hindi, and English. Students expressed their reverence through heartfelt recitations of his poems, bringing out the depth and beauty of his literary creations. The programme also included graceful performances of Rabindra Nritya, capturing the elegance and emotion of Tagore's dance style. A major highlight was the presentation of the dance drama Pujarini, which mesmerised the audience with its powerful storytelling and expressive choreography. The event was a meaningful tribute, allowing students to connect with the timeless works of Tagore through music, poetry, dance, and drama. It was a day of pride, creativity, and cultural reflection for the entire school community.
