"Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self." — Bhagavad Gita In honour of International Yoga Day, the students and staff of St. Patrick's Higher Secondary School, Asansol gathered for a special morning assembly dedicated to celebrating the ancient discipline of yoga—a timeless gift from India to the world. The assembly was a reflection of our commitment to holistic education, where physical well-being, mental clarity, and spiritual growth are nurtured together. Through thoughtfully guided breathing exercises, asanas, and reflections on yogic philosophy, the event served as a reminder that yoga is not merely an exercise, but a way of life—one that teaches balance, focus, discipline, and inner peace. In today’s fast-paced world, especially for students navigating stress and distraction, yoga offers a path to stillness, strength, and self-awareness.
