Description: "The Earth is our common home, and we are all brothers and sisters, bound by the duty to protect it." St. Patrick's recently organized a tree plantation drive that saw 150 trees planted within our school campus. This event, held on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, was a true embodiment of inclusivity and environmental stewardship. Students from all sections—junior, middle, and senior—joined hands with teachers, office staff, and Nai Disha students to make this initiative a success. In a heartwarming gesture, the boys of Class 6 crafted rakhis and tied them around trees, symbolizing a pledge to protect and nurture these young saplings. This act not only celebrated the bond of Raksha Bandhan but also underscored our commitment to the environment, resonating with the values outlined in Laudato Si'. This initiative was more than just about planting trees; it was about instilling a sense of environmental responsibility in our students. As these trees grow, they will serve as a lasting reminder of our duty to care for our planet and each other.
