Description: St. Patrick’s H.S. School, Asansol had the pleasure of the gracious presence of Brother Robert Fernandes, Principal of St. Colamba’s School, New Delhi. A special assembly was organized in his honour by the students of the Senior School in the School auditorium on 19th June, 2024. A prayer dance by the students of the Junior School accompanied by the students of the outreach School ‘Nai Disha’, a short video on the school and a Bengali dance performance by the students of classes 11 & 12 were the bright spots of the programme. Brother Robert in his address to the students spoke about his association with St. Patrick’s where he had started his postulancy, 25 years back. He also urged the students to be mindful of the transient nature of Social Media which is deceptive in nature. Instead they should connect and associate with the real world, thereby making a meaningful contribution to society at large. The Programme was concluded with the vote of thanks rendered by the Principal, Mr. N. D’ Souza which was followed by the School song.
