Description: The sprawling grounds of St. Patrick’s School, Asansol, came alive with energy, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship as the CISCE Zonal Games 2025 began at our campus with the Under-14 Football Tournament. The day commenced with a warm welcome extended to the dignitaries. Principals and staff from participating schools, along with young athletes full of spirit and promise, added to the vibrance of the occasion. Schools that participated in the Under-14 football event included: St. Michael’s, Durgapur St. Joseph’s Convent, Chittaranjan AG Church, Ukhra St. Vincent’s, Asansol St. Patrick’s, Asansol In a closely contested final, St. Patrick’s Higher Secondary School, Asansol emerged as the winners with a narrow 1–0 scoreline, following a well-fought match against St. Michael’s School, Durgapur. A special mention was made of Mr. Ravi Victor, Principal of St. Vincent’s High & Technical School and CISCE Zonal In-charge for Region 1, for his consistent efforts in encouraging and organising interschool sporting excellence. With events in Table Tennis and Yoga scheduled in the coming days, the CISCE Zonal Games at St. Patrick’s continue to be a celebration of youthful energy, teamwork, and dedication.
